[Reporter Miaoxi Liao/Taichung Report] In conjunction with the Eid-al-Fitr on April 14th, the "2024 Eid-al-Fitr Muslim Carnival" event organized by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation, Santuohu, was held lively today (14th) morning at the former Taichung Railway Station square. The opening ceremony was presided over by the director of Santuohu, Zhongyou Cao. Over a thousand Muslim friends and people gathered at the scene to taste Halal-certified food and watch exotic performances, making the scene quite spectacular! Many Muslim friends arrived early at the square in front of the old railway station. The popular Eid-al-Fitr snacks were sold out in less than two hours! Interviewed Muslim friends expressed that they were happy to participate in Muslim-friendly activities in Taichung City, especially during Eid-al-Fitr, allowing everyone to enjoy delicious food with family and friends.
